OUR STORY

In February 2015 God called Pastor Eric and Chrystal Cole to launch a new, life-giving church in Weatherford with a simple goal - to help people find their way back to God so that can can live a new, bright, and vibrant life in Christ. With the help of the Serve Team, 35 people committed to seeing this dream become a reality. Neon Life Church began on September 11, 2016. That Sunday over 200 people attended the first service at the 9th Grade Center in Weatherford, Texas.

From the beginning, our passion has been to provide a place where people feel refreshed as soon as they walk in the doors.

We want to be a church that’s life-giving.  We believe that if we offer the life-giving message of Jesus and show love and compassion to the people of Weatherford and the surrounding communities, that their lives will be filled with hope and in turn they will find their God-given purpose.

One of the most asked questions is "why start a church in a city where there are already over 150 churches?" When a person goes missing, the community comes together, arm and arm, to comb the land, making sure that no area is overlooked. It’s our desire to join arm and arm, and make sure that no lost person is overlooked.

Our goal is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through engaging and powerful worship services and offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways from our Neon Kids ministries to our passionate worship services for students and adults.

Together we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there’s relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, genuine friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we’d like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time!

We know we can’t do this alone and invite you to join us as we spread the message of Jesus. Learn how you can discover your purpose and make a difference with your life through our Growth Track.
